Gpredict is a real-time satellite tracking and orbit prediction application. It can track an unlimited number of satellites and display their position and other data in lists, tables, maps, and polar plots (radar view). Gpredict can also predict the time of future passes for a satellite, and provide you with detailed information about each pass. Gpredict is different from other satellite tracking programs in that it allows you to group the satellites into visualisation modules. Each of these modules can be configured independently from the others giving you unlimited flexibility concerning the look and feel of the modules. Regim ist mein Werkzeug, das die Verarbeitung von astronomischen Aufnahmen erleichtert. Im Mittelpunkt der Überlegungen standen dabei Aufnahmen, die mit digitalen Spiegelreflexkameras (DSLRs) gewonnen wurden. Aber auch für digitalisierte chemische Aufnahmen und CCD Bilder lässt sich das Programm gewinnbringend einsetzen. Regim ist nicht als Ersatz für komplexe Bildverarbeitungssysteme wie etwa Adobe Photoshop gedacht. Vielmehr stellt es eine Ergänzung zu diesen dar. Es vereinfacht Arbeitsschritte, die bei astronomischen Aufnahmen angewendet werden. Dies sind insbesondere die Kalibrierung der Rohbilder (Dark- und Flatfield-Korrektur), Deblooming sowie das Ausrichten der Einzelbilder zueinander, aber auch das Kombinieren von einzelnen Farbkanälen zu einem RGB-Bild.

Hinweis zur aktuellen Version - Folgende Änderungen wurden vorgenommen: Die manuelle B-V Farbkalibrierung wurde um ein Custom-Feld ergänzt; Eine Funktion zum Invertieren von Bildern wurde implementiert; Eine Funktion zur Erzeugung von Sternlisten wurde implementiert; Informationen zu Kombination und Farbkalibrierung werden nun in den FITS-Header geschrieben; Einige kleinere Fehler wurden behoben; Die Dokumentation wurde entsprechend ergänzt.
